Transformational Expectations: Vision 2012
Angelo State University will turn introspective during the 2007-08 academic year as the university examines how best to build a framework for greatness. This process, which will involve students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members, has been named “Transformational Expectations: Vision 2012” by ASU President Joseph C. Rallo.
In the end the introspection will produce a values statement about what the university sees as the essence of its soul, if you will, and a mission statement that articulates ASU's place not only in higher education but also in the world. These critical components of the university's self evaluation will provide the basis for a five-year plan that will not only guide ASU's strategic decisions over the next five years but also will start the framework for greatness upon which the university will build for decades to come.
Over the coming months, this website will provide updated information on the people, discussions and decisions that will make “Transformational Expectations: Vision 2012” a reality for today and tomorrow.
