    Named for the former Texas legislator, the Hardeman Building houses the Admissions and Registrar's offices, the College of Graduate Studies and other student services, including One-Card, Residence Life and Veteran's Affairs.

    Named for the first president of the San Angelo College Board of Trustees, the library was opened in 1967. In addition to the university's library resources, it also houses the Department of Communication, Drama and Journalism with its Ram Page, Ram Radio and Ram TV facilities. The Center for Academic Excellence, the Honors Program, a computer lab and the Writing Center are located on the third floor.

    Named for benefactors Robert G. and Nona K. Carr, the Carr Building was constructed in 1976 and renovated in 2006. It houses the College of Liberal and Fine Arts and the College of Education. The Department of Art and Music and two education departments are housed in the building. Other features include the Modular Theatre, classrooms, faculty offices, an art gallery, a computer lab and a recital hall.

    The Academic Building is a classroom facility that opened in 1968. It is home to the Departments of English, History, Modern Languages, and Psychology, Sociology and Social Work as well as a computer lab and faculty offices.

    Named for ASU's first President, Dr. Raymond M. Cavness, the Cavness Science Building was constructed in 1967. It houses the Department of Biology and Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, classrooms, faculty offices and the ASU Natural History Collections.

    The Center for Human Performance houses the Departments of Kinesiology and Physical Therapy and various classrooms and faculty offices. The Center is also a focus of student activities with the Recreation and Intramurals Office, swimming pool, multi-purpose gymnasium, racquetball courts and weight room.

    Completed in 1996, the Mathematics-Computer Science Building houses the departments of Mathematics and Computer Science, along with classrooms, a computer lab and the faculty multimedia center. The Texas State Data Center is housed on the third floor of MCS.

    Named for former system regent Emil C. Rassman, the Rassman Building was constructed in 1983 and houses the College of Business and the Departments of Management and Marketing; Aerospace Studies/ROTC; Government; and Accounting, Economics and Finance. Rassman is home to the offices of Information Technology and of the Small Business Development Center as well as classrooms and two computer labs.

    Named for former ASU President Dr. Lloyd D. Vincent and his wife, Johnell, the Vincent Nursing-Physical Science Building was completed in 1985. The Vincent Building houses the College of Sciences and the Departments of Agriculture, Nursing and Physics. Facilities include classrooms, faculty offices, a computer lab, the Learning Resources Lab and the University Planetarium.

  10. LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center 11

    Named for benefactors Dr. Robert and Jean Ann LeGrand, the center was built in 2003 and houses the ASU Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Relations. Facilities include a conference center, ballroom and open-air courtyard.

    Completed in 2005, Science III houses labs for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Department of Biology. The facility also includes a classroom and Anatomy Laboratory for the Physical Therapy Department.

    Named for Al and Licha Herrington who donated the property in 2003, Herrington House is home to the Division of Continuing Studies and the Office of Institutional Planning and Effectiveness and the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment.

    Named for the newspaper pioneer, the Houston Harte University Center is home to the Offices of Career Development, Student Involvement and Student Life. It also houses the university Bookstore, Information Desk, Post Office, cafeteria and catering services. Facilities include conference rooms, lounges, art galleries and a TV room. The West Texas Collection is located on the second floor.

    The Facilities Management Complex was built in 1970 and houses the Facilities Management Office that oversees all building maintenance, grounds keeping, custodial operations, the university fleet of vehicles and the key shop. The facility also houses the offices of Facilities Planning and Construction, which oversees planning and all capital construction projects on the campus.

    Located on the East side of campus, the Pavilion includes a full-size basketball court for pick-up games. It is also used for pep rallies, dances, movies, various student organization and campus events, and many other recreational activities.

    Located next to the Pavilion on the East side of campus, the sand volleyball court is a perfect gathering place for students near many of the residence halls and off-campus apartments.

    Completed in 1989, the Super Slab features fast-food options and a paved recreation area that can be used for outdoor dining, pick-up basketball games, concerts, dances and other student, organization and campus events. It's just a short walk down the University Mall from the Pavilion, sand volleyball court and residence halls.

    The Intramural Fields, completed in 2003 with lighting added in 2005, are the center of outdoor intramural activity on campus.

    Named for the Frank Junell Family and opened in 2002, the Junell Center houses the university's athletic staffs, classrooms, dressing rooms, sports medicine facilities, weight rooms, Honors Lounge and ASU Hall of Fame. Named for F.L. "Steve" and Pollyanna Stephens, Stephens Arena features a hardwood playing surface, seating for 6,500 and the largest electronic scoreboard in the Lone Star Conference. It is home of Rams basketball and Rambelles basketball and volleyball.

    Renovated in 2001 and 2006, the complex includes natural grass infield and outfield, press box, batting cages, electronic scoreboard, concession stand and medical training facilities.

    Built in 1996 and renovated in 2001, the field includes natural grass playing surface, seating for 500, restrooms, concession stand, electronic scoreboard and medical training facilities.

    Built in 1989 and renovated in 1994, includes an all-weather track, throwing areas, press box and seating for 3,000. Facilities include complete lighting, Finish Lynx timing system and scoreboard, and locker and training rooms. The complex is a four-time host of the NCAA Division II National Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

    There are two sets of tennis courts, located next to the Vincent Nursing-Physical Science Building and on the South end of campus next to the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex. Each is used for intramurals, P.E. classes and recreational play and are open to the public.

  11. Foster Field (Baseball) 32

    Built in 2000 on university property, Foster Field is home to the Ram baseball team. The field features seating for 4,200, a Triple A lighting system and Daktroniks scoreboard. Amenities include major league-style dugouts, pressbox, concession areas, restrooms, bullpens and batting cages, and a complete training and locker room facility.

    Located a mile south of the ASU campus on Johnson Street, San Angelo Stadium is home for Ram football games. Operated by the San Angelo Independent School District, the stadium seats 17,500. When the stadium opened in 1956, it received recognition for outstanding design, including a display of photographs in New York City's the Museum of Modern Art where it was cited as an outstanding example of modern engineering. The facility remains one of the best in all of Division II NCAA football.

Texan Hall C & D 300's floors are home to the academic Honors housing area. Students desiring to live in Texan Hall on the designated Honors housing floor(s) must meet special eligibility requirements.

Located less than 1/2 mile from campus, Harvard House features true all-bills-paid apartment-style residences for ASU students, along with all the enhancement activities and services that come with living " campus."
