Texas Be-On-Time Loan Application Process

Texas Be-On-Time Loan applicants must complete this process each time a Be-On-Time Loan is awarded for any period of enrollment.

Initial Applicants

  1. Student receives Be-On-Time award notification from Angelo State University.
  2. Student enters on-line acceptance of the Be-On-Time award. (http://rams.angelo.edu)
  3. Student accesses the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Web site after July 15 to complete all steps of the loan application process. Initial applicants must go to the Web site shown above to complete the required application and Master Promissory Note. The signed Promissory Note must be received by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board within 30 days after the date of application is submitted or the last day of the semester in which it is intended, whichever comes first.

Renewal Applicants

  1. Student receives Be-On-Time award notification from Angelo State University.
  2. Student enters on-line acceptance of the Be-On-Time award. (http://rams.angelo.edu)
  3. Student accesses the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Web site after July 15 to complete all steps of the loan application process. Renewal applicants must go to the Web site shown above to provide updated application information each year.
