Loans By Web™ Instructions

Stafford Loan Application Proces

Angelo State University is participating in an electronic loan application process called Loans By Web™ through Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (TG). All Stafford Loan borrowers must complete this process each time a Stafford Loan is awarded for any period of enrollment.

  1. Student receives Stafford award notification from Angelo State University.
  2. Student enters on-line acceptance of the Stafford award.
  3. Student allows 2 business days for the Financial Aid Office (FAO) to process and transmit the Stafford loan certification to TG.
  4. Student accesses Loans By Web™ after the 2 business day processing period and completes all steps of the loan application process.
  5. Student prints confirmation page for future reference.

Parent PLUS Loan Application Process

Angelo State University is participating in an electronic loan application process called Loans By Web™ through Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (TG). All parent PLUS Loan borrowers must complete this process each time a PLUS Loan is awarded for any period of enrollment.

  1. Student receives PLUS award notification from Angelo State University.
  2. Student enters on-line acceptance of the PLUS award.
  3. Parent borrower completes the PLUS Borrower Information/Authorization Form and submits it to the Financial Aid Office (FAO).
  4. Parent borrower allows 3 business days after FAO receives the completed form to process the parent borrower information and transmit the loan certification to TG.
  5. Parent borrower accesses Loans By Web™ after the 3 business day processing period and completes all steps of the on-line application process.
  6. Parent borrower prints confirmation page for future reference.
