What are RamBucks?

RamBucks is a stored-value account that is available to all students, faculty, and staff of Angelo State University. RamBucks may be used only on campus.

How do I make a deposit to my RamBucks account?

1. In person. Come to the OneCard Office, room 209 in the Hardeman Building. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.. Deposit amounts must be at least $5.00. We accept cash, check, money order, MasterCard, and VISA.

2. FAX. You may send us a FAX requesting to add funds to your account using your MasterCard or VISA. Complete the Form and fax to(325) 942-2240.

3. By Mail. You may mail us a request to add funds to your account. Complete the Form and mail to the ASU OneCard Office The address is ASU OneCard Office, ASU Station #11036, San Angelo, TX 76909-1036.

4. CSVT. To make a cash deposit of at least $1.00, you may use one of the satellite locations. The satellite locations are called CSVTs and they look similar to an ATM. You must have your OneCard to make a deposit at a CSVT. Instructions for adding funds are on the display. A CSVT machine is located in MCS 111 and one is located across from the Snack Bar in the University Center.

5. Campus AutoLoad. This is a feature of the ASU OneAccount. Campus AutoLoad allows you to preset an amount to transfer from your OneAccount to your RamBucks account when your RamBucks account drops below a preset dollar amount. Go to asuone.com for more information on Campus AutoLoad.

What happens if I don't use all of the money in my RamBucks account? Can I get a refund?

Any money left in a RamBucks account at the end of the semester carries over to the next semester.

Requests for refunds during the semester cannot be honored unless you are withdrawing from ASU. When you leave the University (graduate, transfer, etc) and if you have a balance of $5.00 or more in your RamBucks account, a refund will be processed. NOTE: Effective September 1, 2008, the refundable balance will change to $25.00.

Requests for refunds should be addressed to the ASU OneCard Office, ASU Station # 11036 ASU, San Angelo, TX 76909-1036.

Account balances of less than $5.00 will be forfeited. Effective September 1, 2008, NOTE: Effective September 1, 2008, amounts less than $25.00 will be forfeited.

Can I withdraw cash from my RamBucks account?

You may not withdraw cash from your RamBucks account. If you will be leaving ASU at the end of the semester and you have an account balance of at least $5.00, these funds will be refunded to you. NOTE: Effective September 1, 2008, balances of $25.00 and more will be refundable when you are no longer a student/faculty/staff member. Balances under $25.00 will be forfeited.

Can I add RamBucks at the time I register for classes and pay for them on my student billing account?

Not at this time. You may add money to your account in the OneCard Office, at one of the CSVTs, or via the Campus AutoLoad feature of your OneAccount. See How do I make a deposit to my RamBucks account?

Will I get a statement showing the activity on my RamBucks accounts?

We do not send out activity statements. However, we will print out a statement of your meal plan, RamPoints, and/or RamBucks account activity at your request. To request a printout, you must come to the ASU OneCard Office. Be sure to bring a picture ID with you. We cannot tell you your account balance over the phone nor can we allow a friend or relative to request a printout of your account.

We are in the process of creating a feature that will allow you to review on campus accounts (ie.your meal plan, RamPoints, and RamBucks transactions) for the current semester.

You can access a real-time statement of your OneAccount by logging in to your account at asuone.com.

How can I check the balance on my RamBucks account?

We are in the process of creating a feature that will allow you to review on campus accounts (Meal plan, RamPoints, and RamBucks transactions) for the current semester. Until this feature is up, you can can check your balance in several ways:

1. You can check your balance in person at the OneCard Office, room 209 in the Hardeman Building during regular business hours;

2. You can request a receipt with your account balance printed on it when you make a purchase;

3. You can check your balance at one of the CSVT machines on campus. There is a CSVT located in the MCS 111 computer lab and one located in the University Center.

Where can I use my RamBucks?

RamBucks can be used at the following locations on campus.

Selected beverage vending machines
Selected snack vending machines
Selected photocopiers
Color laser printing
Library to pay for fines
