Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
This assessment categorizes preferences and personal characteristics in four areas:- where you get your energy
- the way you take in information
- the way you make decisions
- the way you organize your life(style)
This information can be useful in identifying types of work that may provide career satisfaction, potential occupations that are consistent with your preferences and implications for the job search process. The report produced after taking the MBTI identifies job families and occupations that are a good fit for your reported MBTI type.(Source: MBTI Manual, Third Edition, 1998).
