August 3, Monday Last day for U.S. Resident Students to apply for undergraduate admission for the Fall Semester.
August 15, Saturday Registration closed for financial aid processing.
August 17-21 Registration open for add only.
August 20-21, Thursday/Friday New International Student Orientation
August 21, Friday by 5:00PM Payment due for the Fall semester or classes will be cancelled. Payment may be made in person, by mail, or via the web.
August 21, Friday at 9:00 a.m. Residence Halls open for check-in.
August 24, Monday Classes, schedule changes and late registration begin. International Student insurance deadline.
August 27, Thursday Last day to register or make schedule changes.
August 28, Friday by 5:00PM Payment for late registration or schedule changes due by this date or classes will be cancelled. Payment may be made in person or via the web.

September 1, Tuesday 1st 8-week Session "W" period begins.

September 25, Friday Last day to withdraw from a 1st 8-Week course.
Pending by 5:00 p.m. Second installment payment due for the Fall term.

October 12, Monday 2nd 8-Week Session registration.
October 16, Friday 1st 8-Week Session ends. Midterm. Last day to file applications for graduation by candidates who expect to complete degree requirements in December 2008.
October 19, Monday 2nd 8-Week Session classes begin.
October 26, Monday 2nd 8-Week Session Census Day. See Withdrawals & Refunds for more information.
October 27, Tuesday 2nd 8-Week Session "W" period begins.
Pending by 5:00 p.m. Final installment payment due for the Fall semester.
October 29, Thursday Last day for a partial or total withdrawal from the University for the Regular session.
November 13, Friday Last day for graduate students to schedule the Comprehensive Examination or thesis defense.
November 20, Friday Last day for graduate students to take and pass the Comprehensive Examinations. Last day to submit the thesis to the Graduate Dean.
November 20, Friday Last day to withdraw from a 2nd 8-Week Session course.
November 26-27, Thurs/Fri. Thanksgiving Holidays (Pending Board of Regents approval)
Nov. 30-Dec 4, Mon.-Fri. Laboratory Examinations. No examinations in lecture classes.
Dec. 7-11, Mon.-Fri. Final Examinations. Fall Housing Contract ends. Residence Hall students not officially participating in graduation ceremonies must check out of their room within 24 hours of their last final.
December 15 Deadline to submit Housing Deposit Refund or Exemption Request information with all supporting documentation for the Spring 2010 semester.
Pending Last day to make payment for the Fall semester to avoid a $100.00 late fee.
December 12, Saturday Graduation
December 13, by Noon Residence Hall check-out deadline for students officially participating in graduation ceremonies. All Residence Halls close at noon for the break.
December 22, Tuesday at 5:00pm University closes for the Winter Break.
December 23-January 1, 2010 University closed for Winter Break Pending Board of Regents Approval)

April 8, Wednesday Pre-Registration opens for currently enrolled Graduate Students, Seniors, and Post-Baccalaureate students.
April 13, Monday Pre-Registration opens for currently enrolled Juniors.
April 15, Wednesday Pre-Registration opens for currently enrolled Sophomores.
April 20, Monday Pre-Registration opens for currently enrolled Freshmen & Non-Degree Seeking undergraduates.
April 22, Wednesday Pre-Registration opens for all students (New, Re-Entry, and Continuing).
