April 10, Tuesday Pre-Registration opens for currently enrolled Graduate Students, Seniors, and Post-Baccalaureate students.
April 12, Thursday Pre-Registration opens for currently enrolled Juniors.
April 16, Monday Pre-Registration opens for currently enrolled Sophomores.
April 18, Wednesday Pre-Registration opens for currently enrolled Freshmen& Non-Degree Seeking undergraduates.
April 20, Friday Pre-Registration opens for all students (New, Re-Entry, and Continuing).
June 8, Friday Last day for International Students to submit undergraduate or graduate application and all required documents for the Fall Semester.
June 8-9, Friday – Saturday SOAR – Student Orientation, Advising, & Registration

July 13, Friday Last day for U.S. Resident Students to submit graduate application and all required documents for the Fall Semester.
July 14, Saturday Deadline to submit written cancellation and refund request of your Housing Deposit for academic year 2007-2008. Cancellation requests received after July 14 th will result in forfeiture of the $150.00 deposit.
July 20-21, Friday – Saturday SOAR – Student Orientation, Advising, & Registration
July 27-28, Friday – Saturday SOAR – Student Orientation, Advising, & Registration
July 31, Tuesday Last day to submit a request for exemption from the ASU Housing Policy, with all supporting documentation for the 2007-2008 Academic year.
August 3, Friday Last day for U.S. Resident Students to apply for undergraduate admission for the Fall Semester.
August 6, Monday Bills available online for the Fall term. NO BILLS WILL BE MAILED.
August 18 – 19, Saturday – Sunday Registration closed for financial aid processing.
August 20 – 24, Monday – Friday Registration open for add only.
August 23-24, Thursday-Friday New International Student Orientation
August 24, Friday by 5:00 p.m. Last day to make payment in person or by mail in the Student Accounts Office.
August 24, Friday Faculty-Staff Convocation Residence halls open for check-in at 9:00 a.m.
August 25, Saturday Regular Registration and Web Payment open.
August 26, Sunday by 5:00 p.m. Last day of Regular Registration and Web Payment deadline.
August 27, Monday Classes, schedule changes, and late registration begin. International student insurance deadline.
August 30, Thursday by 5:00 p.m. Last day to register or make schedule changes.
August 31, Friday by 5:00 p.m. Payment is due at this time or your schedule may be dropped.
September 3, Monday Holiday

September 5, Wednesday 1 st 8-Week Session “W” period begins.

September 13, Thursday Regular Session “W” period begins.
October 1, Monday Last day to withdraw from a 1 st 8-Week course. Second installment payment due by 5:00 p.m. for the Fall term.
October 6, Saturday Family Day
October 15-19, Monday – Friday 2 nd 8-Week Session Registration.
October 19, Friday 1 st 8-Week Session ends. Midterm. Last day to file applications for graduation by candidates who expect to complete degree requirements in December 2007.
October 20, Saturday Homecoming
October 22, Monday 2 nd 8-Week classes begin.
October 29, Monday 2 nd 8-Week Census Day. See Withdrawals & Refunds for more information.
October 30, Tuesday 2 nd 8-Week Session “W” period begins.
November 1, Thursday at 5:00 p.m Final installment payment due for the term.
November 5, Monday Last day for a partial or total withdrawal from the University for the Regular Session.
November 16, Friday Last day for graduate students to schedule the Comprehensive Examination or thesis defense.
November 20, Tuesday Last day for graduate students to take and pass the Comprehensive Examination. Last day to submit the thesis to the Graduate Dean.
November 22-23, Thursday-Friday Thanksgiving Holidays
November 26, Monday Last day to withdraw from a 2 nd 8-Week course.
December 3-7, Monday- Friday Laboratory examinations. No examinations in the lecture classes.
December 10-14, Monday-Friday Final Examinations. Residence Hall students not officially participating in graduation ceremonies must check out of their room within 24 hours of their last final.
December 14, Friday Deadline to submit Housing Deposit Refund or Exemption Request information with all supporting documentation for the Spring 2008 Semester.
December 14, Friday Last day to make payment for Fall semester to avoid a $100.00 late fee.
December 15, Saturday Graduation
December 16, Sunday Residence Hall check-out deadline for students officially participating in graduation ceremonies. All Residence Halls close at noon for the break.
December 21, Friday University closes at 5:00 p.m. for Winter Break
December 24 – January 1, 2008, Monday - Tuesday University Closed for Winter Break
