Welcome to the Offices of Communications and Marketing and Community Relations

The Offices of Communications and Marketing and Community Relations help tell the story of Angelo State University to the rest of the world.

To accomplish this, the offices use a variety of communications and marketing strategies to promote the mission, programs, activities, educational experience and people who make Angelo State University a dynamic institution.

Office responsibilities include managing the content and images for the primary pages of the ASU website; publishing Angelo State University Magazine; serving as media liaison for the university; designing and producing various university publications; and working with university departments to meet their communications and marketing needs.

ASU’s Office of Athletic Communications, a free-standing unit of the Communications and Marketing Office, promotes Angelo State athletics. Athletic Communications manages the athletic website, angelosports.com, and oversees media releases, sports fact sheets, media guides and statistical compilations for ASU’s NCAA Division II men’s and women’s athletic programs.

The Communications and Marketing Office is also home for the university photographer. The goal of the university photographer is to document campus activities and to provide visual images for a variety of university and public uses.
