Angelo State University Director of Admissions Fred Dietz has announced the 2006-07 schedule for "Discover ASU", a series of Saturday on-campus programs for students considering ASU for their college careers.

Discover ASU programs are planned Oct. 28, Feb. 17 and March 24. A special Nov. 11 Discover ASU is scheduled exclusively for transfer students from other universities. Each program will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Houston Harte University Center on the ASU campus.

"These are important events for ASU," Dietz said, "and we look forward to showcasing the faculty, students and campus to our prospective students and their families."

Each program will include a variety of information sessions and tours to acquaint prospective students and their families with ASU. Activities will include a complimentary luncheon for students and their families as well as free admission to various university events.

General information will be available on financial aid, Carr Academic Scholarships, student organizations, residence halls and extracurricular activities. Special sessions will cover academic and pre-professional programs.
