ASU Choir to Present Choral Classics

Angelo State University’s Concert Chorale will perform an evening of inspired choral classics for its spring concert Tuesday, April 24, in the ASU University Auditorium.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is open free to the public. The University Auditorium is located in the ASU Administration Building, 2601 W. Ave N.

The musical program will feature a wide variety of choral favorites from the Renaissance Era through the 20th century, including selections by Brahms, Hairston, Haydn, di Lasso, Offenbach and Padre Martini. The choir will also perform a special setting of “Kyrie” written by Dr. Stephen Emmons, ASU assistant professor of music theory.
