Comedian Headlines First ASU Club Café of 2007

Angelo State University’s coffee house entertainment series, Club Café, will open the spring semester with the raw and edgy comedy of funny man Jay Black on Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the Houston Harte University Center.

Black will perform at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31, in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center. Admission price will be $1 at the door. Coffee and other refreshments will be served.

One of the hottest comedians on the college scene, Black’s ASU performance will be the 11 th stop on his year-long tour of colleges and comedy clubs. A one-time English teacher, he is also a daily blogger for the AOL/Time Warner TV website www.tvsquad.com and is currently writing, consulting and acting in the upcoming comedy movie “Goodbye Baby” due for release later this year.
