ASU Club Café to Welcome College Comedian of the Year

The award-winning humor and impressions of veteran comedian Eric O’Shea will be featured in the latest installment of Angelo State University’s Club Café coffeehouse series Wednesday, March 28, in ASU’s Houston Harte University Center.

O’Shea will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. March 28, in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center. Admission price will be $1 at the door and all those who attend will receive a free Club Café mug. Coffee, cappuccino and other light refreshments will be served.

According to his web site, O’Shea is still that immature boy that wants to play, get silly and try to cope with this crazy thing called life. He wants his viewers to sit back, relax and let his clean wit and priceless observations take them through their embarrassing childhoods and everyday, awkward moments that drive them insane. He boasts that his original stories, unique humor, celebrity impressions and high-energy show are unlike anything seen before.

O’Shea has performed more than 700 college and university shows and was recently named Campus Activity Magazine’s 2007 National Comedy Performer of the Year. He has also made comedy appearances on NBC and VH-1. His favorite impressions include Elmo and the characters of the hit TV show “Family Guy.” Samples of his show can be seen on his web site www.ericoshea.com.
