ASU Club Caf� Brews Up Laughs

Atlanta-based comedian Ronnie Jordan will headline the latest installment of Angelo State University’s Club Caf� coffee house entertainment series Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the Houston Harte University Center.

Jordan will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31 in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center. Admission price is $1 and all those who attend will receive a free Club Caf� coffee mug. Coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and light refreshments will be served.

One of the nation’s hottest up-and-coming young comedians, Jordan is currently in the midst of a nationwide tour of colleges and universities. He will be performing jokes and skits from his new CD “Got Jokes?” along with other original material.

Jordan has performed as the opening act for the Queens of Comedy Tour and the Crown Royal Comedy Soul Fest Tour. He was also a crowd favorite on the Miller Lite Kings and Queens of Comedy Tour and regularly appears at the Punchline Comedy Club in Atlanta.

No stranger to television, Jordan has appeared on the BET network’s “Comic View” and writes gags for “That Comedy Show” that airs on the Turner South Network.
