Reality-Based Comedian to Play ASU Club Caf

Stand-up comedian Tommy Johnagin brings routines drawn from his life to the Houston Harte University Center Wednesday, April 9, for a Club Caf coffee house entertainment series show.

Johnagin hits the stage at 7:30 p.m. April 9 in the C.J. Davidson Conference Center. Admission is $1 and all who attend will receive a free Club Caf coffee mug. Coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and light refreshments will be served.

On his Web site, Johnagin is described as an autobiographical comedian with a gift of finding something funny in everyone he meets and everything he does.

The 23-year-old dropped out of college two years ago to pursue his dream of becoming a fulltime comedian. He finds himself back in the college scene entertaining students. He is on the comedy club circuit and also appeared on Comedy Central’s “Southbeach Comedy Fest” in January.

Samples of Johnagin’s act are available at www.myspace.com/tommyjcomedy.
