Comedian to Highlight ASU Club Caf�

Angelo State University’s Club Caf� coffee house entertainment series will kick off its spring semester performances with award-winning comedian Chad Daniels Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the ASU Houston Harte University Center.

Daniels will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 30 in the University Center’s C.J. Davidson Conference Center. Admission price is $1 and all those who attend will receive a free Club Caf� coffee mug. Coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and light refreshments will be served.

A native of Minnesota, Daniels is in the midst of a nationwide tour of colleges and comedy clubs. He was a finalist in the Comedy Central network’s “Laugh Riots” competition and has performed as a New Face at the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy and Arts Festival.

No stranger to television, Daniels made his debut in 2004 on CBS’s “The Late, Late Show.” He has also performed on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” and his upcoming special “Comedy Central Presents: Chad Daniels” will air on March 21. He has also produced a comedy album, “Two Minutes for Stale Hacking.”
