Water Main Repairs Delay Traffic Through ASU Campus on Johnson Street
Crews working for the City of San Angelo have begun installing a new water main under a section of Johnson Street that runs through the Angelo State University campus and traffic will be reduced to two lanes in the construction area for about a week.
The contractor has informed ASU Facilities Planning and Construction Director John Russell that the affected area of Johnson Street begins at the ASU crosswalks and runs north past the Avenue N intersection. While the construction is ongoing, motorists are encouraged to allow extra time to get through the area, be on the lookout for workers and, if possible, take an alternate route.
