ASU Management Student Wins National Fellowship
Angelo State University senior Brittani Teague is one of only 10 students nationwide to be awarded a H.Y. Benedict Fellowship by the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.
Benedict Fellowships are awarded each spring to seniors who will attend graduate or professional schools in the upcoming fall semester. Teague and the nine other honorees were chosen from a field of 61 nominees and will each receive $2,500.
A management major from Lubbock, Teague has been a regular on the Dean’s List and was named the Outstanding Business Graduate by the ASU College of Business. She also received the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity’s Scholarship Key for the highest GPA among graduating business majors and is part of the inaugural group of students, faculty and staff to have their names added to the new College of Business Wall of Honor.
She is a member of the Honors Program, Honors Student Association and Alpha Chi and a past member of the Alpha Lambda Delta freshman honor society.
Teague is set to graduate with Highest University Honors on Saturday. She will begin her graduate studies this summer in Russia through the ASU Study Abroad Program, then continue this fall at the University of Tulsa as she works toward her M.B.A. degree.
