ASU Education Honor Society Inducts New Members
Angelo State University’s Mu Gamma Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society in education, has inducted its fall 2008 initiates.
Joining the group are Patricia Sill of Boerne, Amanda Combs of Castroville, Rance Lee Payne of Coleman, Lauren Flood of Copperas Cove, Evalee Chatham McCulloch of Eldorado, Lacey Lynne Dearing of Merkel, Shannon Gillespie of Mertzon and Andrea Mae Dawson of Midland.
Also, Jacqueline N. Guerrero of Sinton; Amanda Word of Sonora; and Alisha Marie Culbertson, Michelle Lange Dierschke, Wendy Hamilton, Stacy Lynn Lee, Anna M. Martine, Kinsley Proctor, Felicia Fields, Heather Hayes, Jennifer Martin and Holly Wagner, all of San Angelo.
Others include Heather Danae Bridges of San Antonio and Chelsea Anne Deck of Jal, N.M.
To qualify for Kappa Delta Pi, undergraduate students must be sophomores with cumulative grade-point averages of 3.0 or higher in 12 or more hours of education courses. Graduate students qualify with cumulative GPAs of 3.25 or higher after a minimum of 12 hours of professional education courses.
