ASU Wind Ensemble sets Sunday Afternoon Concert

The Angelo State University Wind Ensemble will perform “Preludes, Festivals and Carnivals,” Sunday, Nov. 23, in the ASU Auditorium in the Mayer Administration Building, 2601 W. Ave. N.

The concert, open free to the public, begins at 3 p.m. with “A Festival Prelude” by Alfred Reed. “Fiesta Del Pacifico” by Roger Nixon and “Prelude, Siciliano and Rondo” by Malcolm Arnold and arranged by John P. Paynter will follow.

“The Roman Carnival Overture,” by Hector Berlioz as transcribed by Kenneth Singleton, completes the concert.

Dr. Daniel McCloud conducts the Wind Ensemble.
