ASUFit to Conduct Health and Wellness Fair
ASUFit will provide free screenings, information and services for Angelo State University employees from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, during a health and wellness fair at the Houston Harte University Center.
Much of the fair will be conducted in the UC spine with some screenings in the C.J. Davidson Conference Center.
Businesses and healthcare-related organizations will participate in the fair, which will include blood pressure checks, hearing, lung capacity, spinal cord, vision, body mass index, blood glucose levels and health risk assessments. Massages also will be available.
ASUFit’s mission is to help faculty, staff and students make healthy lifestyle choices. The initiative provides awareness, education, activities and support to foster a culture of fitness and wellness within the ASU community.
