ASU Teacher Job Fair to Connect Candidates, Schools
Teaching candidates are invited to meet with recruiters from more than 70 school districts from around Texas and New Mexico on Wednesday, April 8, during the annual Teacher Job Fair on the Angelo State University campus.
The job fair will run from 9 a.m.-noon April 8 in the ASU Junell Center/Stephens Arena, 2235 S. Jackson St., and is open to all graduates who will receive teacher certification from any institution, any alumnus or teachers who already hold teacher certificates and the general public.
Candidates can register at the door the day of the fair and there is no fee for them to attend.
Check-in and display setup for the fair is from 8-9 a.m. and doors will open to candidates from 9 a.m.-noon. The Honors Lounge will be open from 1:45 p.m.-4 p.m. for recruiters to hold interviews with candidates.
Recruiters will also attend from the ASU College of Graduate Studies, Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Austin and the Teacher Job Network – Dallas area. As many as 350 people have attended previous fairs.
