ASU to Offer Education Courses in Marble Falls
Angelo State University will offer graduate education courses in Marble Falls during the Spring 2010 semester, which begins in January.
The courses from the ASU Curriculum and Instruction Department and Teacher Education Department will be taught at the Texas Tech University facility at 806 Steve Hawkins Pkwy. in Marble Falls.
Courses planned for the spring semester are Problems of Instructional Supervision, Learning Theories, Practicum/Internship in School Administration, Leadership in Higher Education, Career and Occupational Counseling, Practicum in Counseling, Practicum in Higher Education and Internship in Higher Education and Technology Application in Education.
“Our faculty likes the Hill Country,” said Dr. Brian May, ASU College of Graduate Studies interim dean. “Distance learning is not a new thing for regional or major universities in Texas, but it’s a new thing for ASU. This is something that will become a part of the culture at ASU.”
