ASU Education Honor Society Inducts 34

Angelo State University’s Mu Gamma Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education, has inducted 34 fall 2009 initiates.

Joining the group are Amber Mystique Riddle, Jessica Bryce Crow and Kellie Kristine Price of Abilene, Charles Caleb Hall of Bangs, Kelly Taylor of Bastrop, Elizabeth Rivero and Hayley Drew Moore of Big Lake, Stacey Leigh Dolores Northrup of Boerne and Madalynn Mertz of Brady.

Also, Danielle Ann Gauna of Cedar Park, Mitzi J. Hughey of Comanche, Cherry Nichole Lewis of Copperas Cove, Charissa Sheppard-Koch of Eldorado, Jessica Sarah Carroll of Grandview, Tanya J. Garza-Flores of La Feria, Kelsye Adams of Lamesa, Shaina Oglesby of Levelland and Haley DeAnn Mason of Littlefield.

San Angeloans inducted are Brandi Boese, Brittany Nicole Galihadd, Cattie Makai Grimes, Matthew Eric Haire, Morgan LeFay Jackson, Emily Ann Jones; Tamra Kay Kelly, Christy Kemp, T. Michele Long, John Marshall Perry, Patricia F. Quintero, Sarah Nicole Smith and Tiana Solis.

Others include Caradee Ashe Pyott of Seguin, Morgan Lane Moore of Weatherford, Kade Kelcy of Wellman and Megan Pumphrey of Quinault, Wash.

Undergraduate students qualified for the honor society by being at least sophomores with cumulative grade-point averages of 3.0 or higher and 12 or more credit hours of education courses. Graduate students qualified with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher after a minimum of 12 hours of professional education courses.
