ASU Wind Ensemble to Present ‘American Salute’

The Angelo State University Wind Ensemble will present “An American Salute,” Sunday, Nov. 22, at 3 p.m. in the San Angelo City Auditorium, 72 W. College Ave.

The program is open free to the public.

The Wind Ensemble, directed by Dr. Daniel McCloud, will play selected works of American composers including William Shuman’s “Chester Overture” and “George Washington Bridge,” Robert Russell Bennett’s “Suite of Old American Dances” and Charles Ives’ “Country Band March.” Also on the program are “Back Home Again in Indiana,” arranged by Steve Rhodes, “The Texans” by James Barnes and “America the Beautiful,” arranged by Carman Dragon.
