ASU Vocalists to Perform at Sealy Flats

Angelo State University’s Chamber Singers and Vocal Ensemble will perform a selection of mellow rock classics on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Sealy Flats, 204 S. Oakes Street, during ASU’s Homecoming week and the San Angelo Downtown Association’s “Artoberfest” celebration.

The Sealy Flats performance is open free to the public and will begin at 2 p.m., featuring favorite tunes from the 1960s through the 1980s. Sealy Flats will have food items from its menu and drinks available for purchase.

Among selections planned for the performance are bossa nova songs “Girl from Ipanema” and “M�s Que Nada,” peace and brotherhood anthems “Get Together” and “What a Wonderful World,” ballads “Eres T�” and “New York State of Mind” and upbeat pop songs “Where You Lead” and “New York City Rhythm.”
