ASU’s Delta Sigma Pi Chapter Shares in National Honor
Delta Sigma Pi’s Eta Theta chapter at Angelo State University has been included in the professional business fraternity’s 2010 Make A Difference Day national award from USA Weekend magazine.
The national fraternity was chosen from nearly 3,000 entries submitted recounting volunteer efforts that took place on Oct. 24, 2009. The fraternity was featured in the April 18 edition of USA Weekend along with nine other groups. Each national honoree also received a $10,000 donation from Newman’s Own food manufacturer in their names to the charities of their choices.
The ASU chapter volunteered at the San Angelo Eco Fair in October helping with registration, manning booths and various other activities. The fair promotes environmentally friendly lifestyles and encourages the public to follow those lifestyles.
