ASU Student Involvement Representatives to Attend National Convention
Three students and two staff members from the Angelo State University Center for Student Involvement will attend the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA) Convention, Feb. 13-17, in Boston, Mass.
Rick Greig, director of student involvement, and Clint Havins, coordinator for student programs and activities, will accompany Sam Mendoza, graduate assistant for student programs and activities, Gary Stackhouse, University Center Program Council (UCPC) president, and Ty Mackey, UCPC entertainment chair, to the convention.
The five ASU representatives will attend educational sessions and performance showcases at the convention. Additionally, Mendoza will attend a session on professional coaching in student activities and affairs designed for students seeking a career in the field.
The NACA marks its 50th anniversary at the convention and will feature songwriter, producer and “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi as keynote speaker.
