ASU Writing Camp Geared for Students
Local and area elementary and junior high students can get a head start on improving their writing skills at the Pearl of the Concho Writing Project’s writing camps in July at Angelo State University.
Certified teachers who have completed the Writing Project will engage the students in creative and fun writing to develop self-expression. The young writers group session, meeting July 6-17, is for students going into grades 3-5 this fall and the teen group, meeting July 19-30, is for grades 6-8. Students attend daily sessions from 8:30-ll:30 a.m. Cost for each two-week camp is $200 and deadline for registration is June 16.
