ASU Gallery to Display Print Artwork

The University Center Art Gallery on the Angelo State University campus will host a display of print artwork from around the nation throughout September.

The Art Gallery is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive, and viewing is free to the public.

The artwork currently on display, was shown at a March print conference in Philadelphia. It was provided by members of the Southern Graphics Art Council, one of the largest organizations in the world that supports the art of printmaking. Each year, teachers, students and professionals in printmaking gather to exchange their works at the conference.

The Art Gallery will display selected works in the various printmaking methods. ASU students’ prints will also be presented in the exhibit.
