South Korean Teachers to Visit ASU, Lee Middle School
Two South Korean secondary school teachers will visit San Angelo for two weeks beginning Wednesday, Feb. 2, to experience American culture and education.
As part of a program with the Texas International Education Consortium, Sera Jeong and Mijung Park will observe activities on the Angelo State University and Lee Middle School campuses. They will be hosted by Dr. Richard Evans, ASU assistant professor of education.
Jeong and Park will observe the Thursday, Feb. 3, ASU education class of Dr. Judith Hakes and possibly give cultural presentations during their visit. They will also work with Sara Carlisle and Devina Varela at Lee Middle School for seven days. In addition, they will take in the culture of West Texas by visiting area events and venues.
The Texas International Education Consortium is an association of 32 Texas public universities involved in international education.
