Preview ASU Sessions Set for July 20-21, Aug. 3-4 at University

The 27th Annual Angelo State University Band Camp will attract more than 800 participants to the ASU campus Sunday through Saturday, July 8-14, for seven days of musical activities.

Students, staff and sponsors from throughout Texas and New Mexico will attend the ASU camp for a week of music, instruction and enjoyment.

Students will participate in bands, flags, drum majoring and twirling. In addition, students will have the opportunity to explore other areas of music by taking elective classes in subjects ranging from marching fundamentals to music theory.

The camp faculty consists of ASU music faculty as well as band directors and specialists from some of the most prominent programs in Texas. The guest clinician for this year's camp is Roger Cichy, a noted composer, guest conductor and clinician recognized throughout the country for his musical expertise. Cichy will conduct the Honors Band and the Director's Band.
