Still Time to Apply, Enroll at ASU for Fall Semester

For those recent high school graduates who have been considering college, but have put off making an application, there is still time to apply at Angelo State University for the fall semester, according to Monique Cossich, ASU's director of admissions and retention.

Although time is running out to apply for fall admission to the university, students can still complete the application process in time to enroll in the fall, if they initiate their application as soon as possible.

Opportunities for accepted students to register for fall classes are available during the summer orientation sessions, "Preview ASU," scheduled June 29-30, July 20-21 and August 3-4 and during "Preview Express" on Aug 4.

Students not attending "Preview ASU" may register July 23-26 once they have been accepted and seen an adviser. Registration will be available in person as well as via telephone and the Internet.

Cossich encouraged students to take advantage of the telephone and on-line registration process.

Bills for the fall semester will be mailed after the July registration period. By paying this bill by the posted Aug. 15 deadline, students will have completed the registration process, Cossich said.

Classes for the fall semester begin Aug. 27.

Applications and class schedule bulletins are available in the ASU Office of Admissions, Room 101 of the Hardeman Building, 2625 W. Avenue N. For additional information, contact the ASU Office of Admissions at (325) 942-2041
