'Access ASU' to Air Forum for San Angelo Mayoral Candidates

San Angelo's three mayoral candidates will be featured in a one-hour televised forum to be aired three times on "Access ASU," beginning Tuesday, April 22, on Cox Cable Channel 6.

Jim Hughes, J.W. Lown and William "Bill" Forman are vying to succeed Rudy Izzard as San Angelo mayor in the May 3 municipal election. They will address a variety of issues related to city government during "Access ASU," a television production by the Angelo State University communications program.

The mayoral forum is scheduled to air at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, and at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 24, on Cox Cable Channel 6. It will air again at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 27, on Fox KIDY-TV, Channel 10.

The "Access ASU" special program will be hosted by Paul Glover, an ASU graduate student in communications. The forum will feature an open discussion among the candidates of a variety of issues facing San Angelo.

"Access ASU" is written, produced and hosted by ASU students. "Access ASU" airs at 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays on Cox Cable Channel 6 and at 7 a.m. Sundays on Fox KIDY-TV, Channel 10.
