Friends of ASU Library Seek Book Donations for Benefit Sale

Book donations are being solicited by the Friends of the Porter Henderson Library and West Texas Collection for the Friends Book Sale scheduled Feb. 1 to benefit the Angelo State University Library.

Individuals wishing to donate books for the sale should contact the West Texas Collection at 942-2164 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays or Friends Vice President Judy Niemann at 949-3531.

Book donations will be accepted through Friday, Jan. 31, at the West Texas Collection on the second floor of the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive. West Texas Collection staff will be able to help unload books for donors who call in advance.

With the exception of technical magazines, Friends volunteers are accepting all books and magazines. They are especially interested in Texana.

The book sale is scheduled 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, in the Fellowship Hall of College Hills Baptist Church, 2102 Johnson St.
