West Texas Collection Expands Hours
The West Texas Collection has announced new hours effective immediately for the fall semester.
Under the new schedule, the collection will open each weekday at 10 a.m. and will close at 5 p.m. except on Thursdays when the regional archive will stay open until 8 p.m.
The WTC was forced to suspend morning and evening hours in February due to the impact of state budget cuts and a hiring freeze. With the start of the new fiscal year, the collection is able to resume its more traditional hours.
The WTC is a regional archive devoted to preserving materials on the history of the region. A unit of the Porter Henderson Library, the collection is located on the second floor of the Houston Harte University Center on the ASU campus.
