ASU Friends of Library Book Sale Scheduled Jan. 31

Hundreds of books, magazines and other printed materials, most at rock-bottom prices, will be available to the public during the annual book sale of the Friends of the Porter Henderson Library and West Texas Collection on Saturday, Jan. 31, to benefit the Angelo State University Library.

The book sale is scheduled 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 31in the Fellowship Hall of College Hills Baptist Church, 2102 Johnson St., in San Angelo. Admission is free.

Individuals desiring to beat the crowd and buy books early can pay $5 for admission to preview night from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30.

A variety of fiction and nonfiction will be available. Additionally, various educational materials, including children's books, will be on sale. Texana materials, traditionally among the most popular items in the sale, will be individually priced.

All proceeds from the sale will go to benefit the collections and programs of the Porter Henderson Library and West Texas Collection.
