Discover ASU Sessions Scheduled Nov. 6, 13 on Campus
The final two fall sessions of "Discover ASU," Angelo State University's open house for prospective students and their parents, are scheduled on consecutive Saturdays, Nov. 6 and 13, on campus.
Discover ASU allows students to sample the various academic and extracurricular programs available at the university as well as to meet with students, faculty, financial aid and admissions representatives to learn about the advantages of an Angelo State education. Visiting students and their families will be able to tour the campus and enjoy a complimentary lunch in the Food Service Center.
Nov. 6 activities will be conducted in the ASU Center for Human Performance, 2050 S. Johnson St., and the Nov. 13 Discover will be held in the Junell Center/Stephens Arena, 2235 S. Jackson St. Activities will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. followed by a welcome and opening program at 9:15 a.m.
A departmental and organizational fair will start at 10 a.m. with special interest sessions scheduled at 10:45 a.m. General information will be available on financial aid, Carr Academic Scholarships, student organizations, residence halls and extracurricular activities as well as on academic and pre-professional programs. Tours will begin at 11:45 a.m. with lunch to follow.
Spring Discover ASU programs are scheduled Feb. 12, March 5, April 9 and April 23.
