Summer Enrollment Up 3.85% at Angelo State

Enrollment for the first summer term at Angelo State University this year increased 3.85 percent compared to the total for the same period in 2004, according to figures released by the ASU Registrar's Office.

A total of 2,051 students enrolled in the first summer term this year, up 76 students from the 1,975 reported at the conclusion of the first summer term in 2004.

The number of semester credit hours taken by the summer students during the first term increased by 5.18 percent from 9,440 in 2004 and to 9,929.

The breakdown by classification this year and last is: freshmen, 203, 230; sophomores, 316, 295; juniors, 475, 409; seniors 739, 753; unclassified, 59, 57; and graduate, 259, 231.
