Texas State University System Regents to Meet in Beaumont May 26-27
Regents of the Texas State University System (TSUS) will meet in Beaumont Thursday and Friday, May 26-27, to conduct business for the system's nine schools, including Angelo State University.
The board of regents will convene at 2 p.m. Thursday and at 9:45 a.m. Friday on the eighth floor of the John Gray Library on the campus of Lamar University.
Regents will consider ASU business to select a consultant for the third phase of the renovation of the Academic Building and to award a contract for modification of the Massie Residence Halls. Board members will also consider routine budget adjustments and will review ASU's international education fee. The board will also consider renewing the dining services contract for ASU.
The TSUS board serves as the governing body for ASU and the other eight institutions making up the system. The other institutions are Lamar University, Lamar Institute of Technology, Lamar State College-Orange, Lamar State College-Port Arthur, Sam Houston State University, Sul Ross State University, Sul Ross State University-Rio Grande College and Texas State University-San Marcos.
