TSUS Regents to Meet at Angelo State
Regents of the Texas State University System (TSUS) will meet at Angelo State University Thursday and Friday, Nov. 17-18, to conduct system-wide business.
The board will meet in various committee meetings Thursday and then convene at 9 a.m. Friday in the University Theater of the Houston Harte University Center to conduct business.
Regents will consider several ASU-related items, including possible land acquisition; the grant of an easement; the fall 2006 schedule of fees, room and board rates; and updates on ongoing or planned construction.
In other ASU matters the board will review regular budget adjustments; ASU's fall enrollment figures; various reports of affiliated organizations; curriculum changes; and routine personnel matters.
The TSUS board serves as the governing body for ASU and the other eight institutions making up the system. The other institutions are Lamar University, Lamar Institute of Technology, Lamar State College-Orange, Lamar State College-Port Arthur, Sam Houston State University, Sul Ross State University, Sul Ross State University-Rio Grande College and Texas State University-San Marcos.
