ASU Physical Therapy Students Elected to Statewide Posts
Two Angelo State University physical therapy students have been elected state officers for the Student Assembly of the Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA).
First-year physical therapy students Jon Anderson of Commerce, Okla., was elected vice president and Rebecca Rhodes of Levelland was elected treasurer for the Student Assembly, which represents students from all ten physical therapy programs in Texas.
Before beginning their physical therapy studies this summer, Anderson earned a bachelor of science in biology from Pittsburg State University in Kansas while Rhodes received a bachelor of science in kinesiology from ASU.
The two ASU officers were elected by their fellow students statewide during the TPTA's annual conference last month in The Woodlands.
