Biography:

Roy Ivey is a San Angelo native who grew up in Robert Lee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Angelo State University. Before coming to work at ASU, Ivey worked at the San Angelo Standard-Times and the Ballinger Ledger.

He is married to Dr. Sarah Logan, director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at ASU. A lifelong resident of the Concho Valley, Ivey is an Eagle Scout with a love for nature and counts photography and gardening as hobbies. He also has an interest in music from Beethoven to ZZ Top.
