Mission, Values and Vision Statements

Mission:

To inspire the public, including prospective students, about Angelo State University and to instill pride and loyalty in the university’s multiple constituencies through standard and innovative communications and marketing strategies.

Values:

Excellence: As this is the university’s standard, so too C&M mirrors this value in presenting the university to the public and in reflecting the accomplishments of ASU students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Creativity: To touch our multiple constituencies in meaningful and memorable ways, C&M employs a full range of artistic, photographic and written tools, always seeking originality in thought and outcome.

Integrity: As the primary architect of the university’s image, C&M maintains the highest standards of both accuracy and ethical behavior in presenting ASU to the public.

Collegiality: With teamwork serving as the keystone philosophy for C&M, the ability to work successfully among office staff and with both university and external clients provides the touchstone for success.

Vision:

To elevate the reputation of Angelo State University to the status of one of the top regional universities in the southwestern United States.
