Name Tag Policy

The new design for University faculty/staff name badges utilizing the new logo and two colors is now available from Angelo Awards. The new design will replace ALL current name tags, effective Sept. 1. Previous name tags with the Flaming A or the University Seal should not be used after Aug. 31.

Name tags should follow these guidelines to ensure a uniform style and look:

Three options are provided for the fastener: pin fastener, magnetic fastener and pocket slide.

The name badges must be purchased through a University purchase order with appropriate name and title information included on the PO. Turnaround time should be an estimated three days once the PO is received. In emergencies, Angelo Awards can provide while-you-wait service, provided you bring the PO with you.

New faculty name badges will continue to be ordered by the Office of Academic and Student Affairs as per previous policy. Replacement name badges will need to be ordered by the departments as per above instructions.
