Student Organizations - Boards and Councils
Interfraternity Council
Purpose: to promote the interests of the university, the fraternities represented, and of the college fraternities in general; to ensure cooperation between the fraternities and the university authorities to the end that the condition of the fraternities and their relations with the university authorities may be improved; to insure cooperation among the fraternities of ASU; and, to discuss questions of mutual interest and to present recommendations to the member fraternities.
Panhellenic Association
Purpose: to develop and maintain fraternity life and interfraternity relations at a high level of accomplishment; to consider the goals and ideals of member groups as continually applicable to campus and personal life; to cooperate with member fraternities and the university administration in concern for and maintenance of fine social and moral standards; and to promote superior scholarship as basic to intellectual achievement.
Student Government Association
Purpose: to increase the educational values of student life; to strengthen the unity of purpose among the students, administration of ASU; to broaden the representative character of student government; and, to realize more fully in our student affairs the concepts and practices of efficient and dynamic democracy.
University Center Program Council
Purpose: in seeking to extend the educational process to the arena of social living, the UCPC shall be dedicated to providing opportunity for the educational, social, recreational, and personal growth of the students at ASU.
