Homecoming 2009 Brisket Cook-Off Rules

  1. Each team participating must check-in with a Delta Sigma Pi member at the registration table. You will be given a number and a plate to provide your brisket for judging.
  2. All brisket entries will be cooked on location. Brisket must arrive at the event completely raw. If brisket is pre-heated, or pre-cooked, the brisket entry will be disqualified and no points will be awarded.
  3. No alcoholic beverages are allowed. Students, organizations and/or teams caught with alcoholic beverages will be asked to leave by the University Police and will forfeit all points for the brisket cook-off contest. This includes alcoholic beverages in recipes.
  4. No loud music of any type will be allowed.
  5. All entries will be judged anonymously.
  6. Cooking will begin at 9 a.m. and must be completed no later than 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 4.
