Homecoming 2009 Welcome
Dear Angelo State University Student Body,
My name is Charity Benford, and I am currently serving as this year’s Homecoming Chair. The Homecoming Committee and I have been working hard to make this Homecoming the best one possible. All of the scheduled events during Homecoming Week can be found in this online packet. Our Homecoming game will be held on October 10, 2009 when we face off against Abilene Christian Wildcats.
All point-related events are open to all registered student organizations. However, you do not have to be involved in a campus organization to enjoy the Homecoming festivities. Several events will be judged during the week (such as the Step Contest, Run Through Sign Competition, and Brisket Cook-off). The winners will be awarded Homecoming points, which can be accumulated throughout the week to compete for the spirit stick. The spirit stick will be awarded Saturday during the third and fourth quarters of the football game.
