Enable Javascript
Javascript is a programming language that can be embedded in web pages. Blackboard requires Javascript in order to display course content. This page describes how to enable Javascript on your web browser.

Internet Explorer
In the IE menu bar, choose Tools, then select Internet Options

Choose the Security tab, and set the security for the Local Internet zone to Medium or lower, then click the

Click the OK button to return to close the window.
Note that you may already have set a Custom Level for security. If so, click the Custom Level button.
Near the bottom of the custom settings is the Scripting group. Set the following to Enable:
- Active Scripting
- Allow paste operations via script
- Scripting of Java applets

Click the OK buttons to close the windows.
Firefox, Netscape, Mozilla
In the (Firefox, Netscape, Mozilla) menu bar, click Tools, then select Options

Choose the Content tab, and check the box that says Enable JavaScript.

Click the OK button to close the window.
Safari
From the Safari menu, select Preferences.

Select the Security tab and check the Enable JavaScript button.
