There are a number of computer programs available through the e-Learning Center that can help you create engaging and effective course material. If we have a site license for the program, you may install it on your computer free of charge. Other programs may be purchased through contracted vendors, often at a substantial discount off of list price.

Here are some of the programs we have available for your use in the e-Learning Center:

Audacity Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds.
Captivate Captivate automatically records all onscreen actions and instantly creates an interactive Flash simulation.
Movie Maker Movie Maker allows users to build their own movie with a few simple drag-and-drops, delete bad shots and include only the best scenes, then share their movie via the Web, e-mail, or CD.
TurnItIn TurnItIn is an anti-plagiarism service available online. Submit students' papers and they receive a score based on their originality.
Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Acrobat Pro 9 allows you to create forms, PDF Portfolios, and collaborate using notes.
